Report an error
A wrong figure, an out of date source, a dead link, a phrase that misleads, a calculation that does not come out right: tell us, and it gets fixed. On a site about money, one error can cost someone a great deal.
The message goes through your email software. We keep only what you write, for as long as it takes to correct it, and nothing else.
If your browser does not open an email program, write directly to money@odersa.org, giving the address of the page concerned.
What lets us correct it quickly
- The address of the page, exactly as it appears in your browser bar.
- The exact sentence that causes the problem, copied out.
- What would be correct, even roughly.
- A public source in support, if you have one. It is not required: we check on our side.
What we do with your report
We check the fact against its source, we correct it, and the correction is live at the next update. If the point is debatable rather than wrong, we reword it to remove the ambiguity, which often comes to the same thing for the reader. If you have left us an address, we reply.
Are you looking for help with a personal situation, rather than reporting an error? We give no individual advice, that is a rule of the association. The The traps and Your country pages say what to do and who to turn to.
Something else to tell us
A page that is missing, a word to add to the glossary, a use in a classroom you want to talk about, a translation you are offering: the Write to us page gives the two addresses of the house and explains which one to choose.
